Vocal Technique Workshop: Sing Choruses from Verdi’s Requiem

The Whitehall Choir invites you to join us for a vocal workshop day on Saturday 17 January 2026. We will be singing the choruses of Verdi’s epic Requiem setting. We will be led by our conductor, Joanna Tomlinson, who is one of the UK’s top vocal coaches.

Our accompaniment will be the two piano version written by Richard Blackford.

At morning and afternoon breaks for we will provide tea, coffee, and homemade cake. You may bring your own lunch to eat in the church, or there are many cafes and sandwich shops nearby.

The Blackford version of the Requiem is published by Novello. Copies will be provided on arrival, and this is included in the ticket price.

St Cyprian’s is a red brick Gothic Revival church, with an interior regarded as one of the most beautiful in London. It is in the Marylebone area, close to Regent’s Park, and is a 5-minute walk from Baker Street tube station.
